Not enough sleeps

Counting down the days till we can relax and enjoy the Christmas festivities. The to-do list doesn't seem to get any shorter despite furious activity. My chilled, gentle, simple days are officially behind me and I am paying for it now. Top of the to-do list is to get some craft supplies together and knock up a time machine. Which reminds me, must add a hot glue gun to the shopping list.

Ticked off this week was:

...finishing up some salt dough decorations.

... Popping to see Rudolph.

... buying the tree!!!

... and smothering it in decorations!

... I will not cry. I will not cry. Not part of my planned activities.

... unbelievably a gorgeous door without a wreath. Going to get them one and hang it on their door, knock and hide ;-)

... Princess rustled up a potion for me. Hoping it has time bending properties.

Where Does A Fortnight Go?

Two weeks ago I was coming down from the Britmums Live high. Being sucked back into reality, when all I wanted to do was immerse myself in what my blog could become.

Two weeks later and I am still waiting for an opportunity (during normal waking hours) to get down to some serious blogography. But time seems to be slipping through my fingers. At times like this I am grateful for the 365project, to be able to look back at a fortnight's photos and remind myself where I was, what I was doing and what I was feeling. I'm looking back at them now and am shocked at how long ago some of those days feel yet are so close I could reach out and touch them.

Time is a complete mind bender isn't it.

Last weekend I was wifi-less at Center Parcs Elveden Forest so I didn't post my weekly summary hence this week is a double feature.

Ready steady go

I can imagine what he will look like in 10 years time

My motto for the coming week: Be productive and make memories.

Twenty Five Years

Twenty five years.
Twenty. Five. Years.

Whichever way I write it, it is a quarter of a century.
That is how long it has been since my husband swept me off my feet at a party (back when they were called discos). Seems like yesterday.

So the theme for this week is time.

Me-time crafting turned into puppet making.
We don't look a day older (you'll have to trust me on that).
My Princess is growing up too quickly.
Telling the time with a dandelion clock. It was 15 o'clock by the way.
We collected leaves on our walk to pass the time. (Someone was bored)
Garden party cake making to raise money for MNDa, in honour of Ned, 9 years living with the disease and still fighting.
