Spring has been spotted.
Fresh sightings of the sun have prompted unprecedented exposure to fresh air and exercise this week. Young and old alike have been venturing out beyond the safety of their raincoats to experience the first signs of 'warmth'. The public should not be alarmed and to venture outside at the earliest opportunity, but should carry a scarf and umbrella as a precautionary measure.
- Short sleeves, bare feet and a spring in her bounce.
- Renewed energy to kick that ball.
- Daffodils are blooming.
- Over exposure to fresh air leads to sedate tower building.
- Blossom. yes, blossom.
- Feathers floating.
- Garden skeleton.
The good weather didn't last long with us, but it was so good to get out none the less.
ReplyDeleteThis looks like it was a good week.
Great selection of photographs. LOVE the garden skeleton - that's a chinese lantern i think? So great to see blossom starting to bloom.

ReplyDeleteahhh - wish we'd had more sun (and got out in it more). I love the daffodils with the ribbon (my favourite flowers) but I think my favourite photo is the garden skeleton - perfect chinese lantern.
ReplyDeletelovely fun photos - i am unaware that the weather was like temp wise for most of last week as I spent most of it lying on my sofa ill!
ReplyDeletethe bouquet of daffs is very spring like - i really like these flowers and i dont think they get the credit they deserve. i spotted blossom in our park about 2 weeks ago - seemed very early x
Cold but dry - great to see the children out having fun. The chinese lantern is lovely.
ReplyDeletelove the ribbon on daffodil picture, certainly a different but good angle. We have had snow again here today after quite a few warm sunny days lately ( well 8 or 9 oC but sunny so felt warm)
ReplyDeleteSpring is in the air for certain!!! Just need it to stay now :)
